Caquetá, Gateway to the Amazon

  • Arrival in Florencia, the golden gateway to the Colombian Amazon
  • Your journey begins with an immersion into the Amazon foothills. From Florencia, we will head to Reserva Avispa, located in the village of La Holanda, in the township of Santo Domingo, 13 km from the city
  • After lunch, we will explore Cañón Ingeri, enjoying a swim at El Avispón Waterfall and rappelling down the impressive La Avispa Waterfall. A low-to-medium difficulty experience, ideal for those seeking adrenaline and a connection with nature.
  • At the end of the day, we will return to Florencia to check in at the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner at Qmare Amazonía.

Opening Portals

  • This experience takes us to discover a hidden gem in southern Caquetá: Los Portales del Fragüita. The route begins by crossing the Fragüita River, surrounded by lush green scenery, until reaching Finca Ecoturística La Puerta del Sol, where don Andrés welcomes us warmly and shares his inspiring story: from coca to tourism and conservation.
  • Together with him, we will explore Lágrima del Gigante Waterfall and Los Espejos pool, a haven of crystal-clear waters perfect for relaxing.
  • At the end, if the river is clear, we will go tubing. Otherwise, we will return on foot to our meeting point.
  • Return to accommodation and rest.

Waterfalls and "Fin del Estrés"

  • Our journey continues to the municipality of El Doncello, where Anayacito awaits — the tallest waterfall in Caquetá, with a 190-meter free fall. Its crystal-clear waters, a reflection of the area's rock formations, invite us into a sensory experience of sound and meditation at the top, connecting us with the mountain.
  • Next, at Fin del Estrés ("End of Stress"), we will enjoy a traditional country-style lunch with flavors typical of the Caquetá countryside. Afterward, we will relax on its beach, where the murmur of the water creates the perfect setting to unwind.
  • Once the hiking activity concludes, we return to the starting point and head back to the city of Florencia.
  • Return to Florencia to enjoy a comforting dinner and well-deserved rest.

Cueva de los Colores

  • 18 km from Florencia, in the township of Orteguaza, lies Reserva Ecoturística Las Palmas, a space dedicated to conservation and ecological restoration. There we will meet the Botache Galindo family and hear their life story of "from cattle ranching to tourism."
  • We will explore the rainforest and discover the various palm species and their uses, making our way to the Cueva de los Colores ("Cave of Colors"), where silence and tranquility fill every corner. Afterward, at Charco del Amor, we will take a dip in its crystal-clear waters alongside the fish.
  • Finally, we will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with doña Lili's special seasoning, a secret touch from farm to table.
