Itinerario

DAY 1: Fin del Mundo Waterfall

  • Welcome at the airport or in the city of Villagarzón, where we'll greet you at this magical destination. Our transport will be ready to help with your luggage as we begin the journey. (We suggest arriving before noon.)
  • We'll head to Fin del Mundo — a natural treasure where the Andean and Amazonian ecosystems meet, creating awe-inspiring landscapes and captivating natural pools. We'll ascend through forest trails accompanied by primates and local birds, pausing to taste fresh sugarcane juice and learn the fascinating history of the place. We'll then cross the Dantayaco River and reach a natural viewpoint to take in the majestic waterfall of over 70 meters, with the option of canyoning for the more adventurous. We'll finish by relaxing in crystal-clear pools before enjoying lunch inside a cave with a spectacular view, then begin our descent
  • In the late afternoon, we'll rest at a lodge within a nature reserve in Villagarzón. After dinner and settling in, we'll gather around the fire to share stories, learn about indigenous cosmovision, and receive an energy harmonization ceremony

DAY 2: Adventure & Culture in Puerto Limón

  • Our day begins in Puerto Limón, a village where Afro-Colombian, indigenous, and settler cultures converge.
  • We kick off the adventure with a boat ride to two sacred waterfalls, where you'll enjoy a refreshing swim. Then we descend the river on tubes, taking in a breathtaking jungle landscape. Back in the village, we'll enjoy a traditional Afro-Colombian lunch with Doña Rafaela and explore the town's colonial history. We close the day by connecting with indigenous culture alongside the grandmothers, sharing dances and ancestral traditions.
  • In the late afternoon, we'll settle into a lodge on a nature reserve run by a local family, then head out for a night safari in search of reptiles and amphibians, uncovering the secret life of the jungle after dark

DAY 3: Donde se Oculta el Sol Nature Reserve

  • After breakfast, we'll explore the Donde se Oculta el Sol Nature Reserve — a biodiversity sanctuary in the Andean-Amazonian corridor. We'll walk trails beneath lush canopy trees, then take a dip in the Mohano waterfall to recharge and enjoy its crystal-clear waters.
  • After lunch, our services come to a close.

What to Pack for Your Trip?

Keeping in mind that all activities take place in the Andean-Amazonian region of the Putumayo department — known for its warm and humid climate — we recommend bringing the following to ensure a comfortable and safe experience:

  • Closed-toe shoes with good grip, suitable for getting wet or muddy, plus an extra pair of shoes
  • Water shoes
  • Lightweight daypack for daily use
  • Insect repellent and eco-friendly sunscreen
  • Cap, hat, and sunglasses
  • Long-sleeve shirts and pants (preferably lightweight and quick-dry) for hikes
  • Comfortable clothing for evenings
  • Swimwear for 3 days

For the night safari, we recommend bringing rubber boots or waterproof wading boots, as well as a headlamp if you have one.

Additionally, we suggest packing a rain jacket in case of rain. To keep your shoes mud-free, rubber mud boots are also recommended if you own a pair.
